Despite heavy losses inflicted by an 88mm ATG, a 75mm ATG and a 50mm ATG, this is where the Americans managed to strike back! The 75mm ATG is located in a bunker hidden by the puff of white smoke on the hill in the centre of the picture. The 50mm ATG is in another bunker at the edge of the beach and located just below the 75mm ATG in this picture. The 88mm ATG has just been destroyed as can seen by the plume of red flame from the bunker in the centre of the picture. Most of the anti-tank weapons defending this beach are located at one end and shoot along the beach rather than out to sea. As can be seen from the numerous burning tanks, they have been quite effective.
